I sometimes supplement my dogs’ food with some vegetables, though I know their raw-meat diet provides all they need, I feel that sometimes they are still a little hungry. So, without putting weight on the dog, I can add a little to their meal to help fill them up and add some extra vitamins, minerals and fibre. I prepare vegetables and fruit , if they need a little cooking, I lightly steam them, add the raw vegetables, and whizz it in the blender to mix, then freeze it. Then, simply thaw and mix with their regular meal , simple and healthy. Though I know some raw-feeders never add any vegetable, I prefer this as an extra little bit to their meal.
